How PDX parking works
If you are gone less than a day, Short-Term is the garage that makes PDX feel small. Skybridges on level 4 and tunnels hit the terminal without weather. Long-Term is the same idea at a lower day rate — still a walk, still 8 feet of clearance.
Economy sits near I-205. Shuttles run every 7–9 minutes most of the day, every 15 minutes after midnight. That is fine when you plan it and painful when you thought “Portland is easy” and your flight boards in 35 minutes.
Both garages have EV chargers. Economy has more of them, out by the shelters. The cheap lot is also the one that fills on the Sunday after Thanksgiving — glance at the board before you pass the garage exits.

- Tight connection or a few hours: Short-Term.
- A couple of nights, still walking: Long-Term.
- A week and a lower rate: Economy (7th day free).
