How SFO parking works

Domestic Garage sits on Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Height is 6'6" — vans and some SUVs will not fit. International Garage A is taller (8'2") and sits toward the A side. International Garage G is the one for the international terminal. Long Term is the remote garage with AirTrain. ParkFAST is a reserved slice inside Domestic with its own entry and a hard cap on how many cars it takes.

Friday afternoon and Sunday night are when Domestic goes Limited. If you are on an evening international departure, Garage G is the garage to watch, not Domestic.

SFO lets you book ahead. Drive-up still works when the board says Open. When it says Full, a reservation in a different garage is the move — not a second loop of the spiral.

Which SFO garage serves the international terminal?

International Garage G. Garage A is the taller close-in structure on the A side. Domestic Garage is for Terminals 1, 2, and 3.

Will my SUV fit in the SFO Domestic Garage?

Only if you are under 6 feet 6 inches including the roof rack. Many crossovers with a box will not. Garage A and Garage G are 8 feet 2 inches.

What is ParkFAST?

A reserved pocket inside the Domestic Garage with its own entry, capped at about 166 cars. It is not a separate building. If it is Full, you are back to the main Domestic spiral or Long Term.

How do I get from Long Term to the SFO terminals?

AirTrain. Long Term Garage 1 is 6'10"; Garage 2 is 8'2". It is the lot that still has room when Domestic is Limited on a Sunday.
